Winning Series Karting International World Championship
(F1 New Jersey)
The only North American round of the Italian-based Winning Series Karting (WSK) International visits New Jersey Motorsports Park’s F1 New Jersey track, July 28 - August 1. WSK International, which hosts a European series, is running a true National Championship for karting competitors in 2010. The three-race series visits Portimao, Portugal; Sham el Sheik, Egypt; and F1 New Jersey at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
While wild-card entries may be accepted, each of the full-time competitors in the world championship are required to enter all three events - assuring a true international flavor at the F1 New Jersey stop. WSK will bring the world’s focus to New Jersey Motorsports Park with an international television package, beaming the race around Europe. |

AMA Pro Superbike Championship (Thunderbolt)
The most popular event in the short history of New Jersey Motorsports Park was last season’s debut of the AMA Pro Superbike Championship. Already one of the favorites on the series calendar, the event establishes a Labor Day tradition at NJMP for the series and Mid-Atlantic motorcycle race fans.
Josh Hayes is expected to lead a swarm of new challengers to Mat Mladin’s vacated-by-retirement Superbike title, in a season that might be the most wide open championship race in years. |

WKA Dunlop Tire Road Racing Series (Lightning) and WKA Manufacturer's Cup (F1 New Jersey)
Based purely on numbers, the largest karting weekend of the year may be September 17-19 at Lightning Raceway and F1 New Jersey. One of the most anticipated weekends each season has been the Woodbridge Karting Club’s hosting of the World Karting Association (WKA) Dunlop Tire Road Racing Series. This season’s event places some of the fastest gokarts available on the 1.9-mile Lightning Circuit, providing a show unlike any other.
While the WKA road racing is happening, the WKA Manufacturer’s Cup will bring toplevel sprint racing to the F1 New Jersey tarmac - filling the paddock with the high-speed machines, their drivers, and their families. |
