Kart Madness Offers Chance For Test Rides, Karting Information at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Millville, N.J. (May 12, 2009) - Drivers looking to upgrade their karting equipment, as well as those hoping to finally "get into the game," will get their opportunity at Kart Madness this weekend at F1 New Jersey. The world-class karting facility at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, N.J. will host a variety of manufacturers and karting experts on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

Kart Madness will host vendors from SSC East, Kosmic Kart, Merlin chassis/Doty Racing, and CFMotorsports. Each manufacturer will have representatives available to answer questions about individual karts, chassis and engines available for sale.

By appointment through each manufacturer and vendor, test drives are available for those looking to purchase a kart beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday evening on one of the F1 New Jersey track configurations.

F1 New Jersey will still be open throughout the weekend from 5 p.m. until 7:30 with the track's acclaimed arrive and drive program, which provides rental karts, helmet, suits and other safety equipment for just $35 per session.

Additionally, this weekend also hosts both an F1 New Jersey club race with classes for a variety of karts. Practice time is available for the club race on Saturday at a cost of $55 for the day, with a $65 entry fee for Sunday's race. F1 New Jersey also hosts a regional qualifier on Sunday for the Rotax Max Challenge national event to be held later this summer in Oklahoma City, Okla.
